Sunday Services

Our Church is a partnership between the Methodist and United Reformed denominations and we are partners with Westgate Church in Peterborough with whom we share our Minister.

Worship services are held every Sunday morning at 10.30am with either our own minister, a visiting speaker or our own Worship Team leading. We also have a Music Group comprising singers, piano and guitars who lead singing before the actual service commences and sometimes participate within services. Our organ, which used to be at the old Kings Dyke Chapel provides a fine lead for our hymn singing! Our audio visual set up provides us with further worship resources with hymns and Bible readings displayed!

Holy Communion is usually served on the first Sunday morning. Normally there is a service on the final Sunday evening of each month at 6.30pm where Holy Communion is also served although we are presently trialling an afternoon cafe style service with communion at 4.30pm. Everybody is welcome at the table, those who have already come to know and love the Lord and those seeking to know him better! You do not have to be a member to share in the bread and wine!

Our youngsters join in for the opening part of morning worship and then go out to their own sessions, returning at the end of the service to relate to the adults what they have been doing. An "All Age" worship usually takes place on the last Sunday morning service of each month where we all worship together.

You are all assured of a very warm welcome to come along and be a part of a growing, vibrant congregation. Refreshments are always served in the Church after worship. We hope that when you visit us you will stay for a cuppa and get to know us better?
